TCS Holds Trilateral Research Seminar on
“Deepening Partnership between Trilateral Cooperation and ASEAN”
on June 28(Thurs.), 2012
The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat will hold the first Trilateral Research Seminar on “Deepening Partnership between Trilateral Cooperation and ASEAN: Towards the Vision of an East Asian Community” on June 28, 2012 (Thurs.) in TCS.
The goal of the seminar is to promote the overall development and prosperity of East Asia. It will examine:
1) Future direction of East Asian cooperation;
2) Strategies for the three countries to jointly and more effectively cooperate with ASEAN.
Scholars from China, ROK, Japan, as well as representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat and an ASEAN think-tank (S.Rajaratnam School of International Studies) will be presenting in the seminar.
The deliverables of the seminar will be a set of substantive policy and action-oriented recommendations that the TCS will compile and submit to the three governments later.
