2020年11月8日，全球青年应对气候变化交流活动在韩国仁川拉开帷幕。此次活动由韩国气候和空气质量委员会（NCCA）主办。中日韩合作秘书处秘书长道上尚史出席开幕式并致辞。
道上秘书长表示，新冠肺炎疫情对人类安全各方面构成挑战。当前形势下，以青年为中心开展气候变化问题交流，对公众提升环境问题认知水平很有意义。此次活动主题鲜明、构思巧妙，NCCA所作努力值得赞赏。
2020年全球青年应对气候变化交流活动是NCCA开展的首个全球性青年活动。应NCCA要求，中日韩合作秘书处推选中、日两国青年代表与会。双方表示愿加强合作，共同推进地区环保事业。
