Others Great Tumen Initiative Secretariat Visited TCS

The delegation of Great Tumen Initiative (GTI) Secretariat headed by the Director, Mr. Tuguldur Baajiikhuu visited TCS on October 11, 2018.
Secretary-General LEE Jong-heon met with the delegation. He spoke highly of the contributions that the GTI and GTI Secretariat had done to improve economic cooperation in the region and looked forward to bigger role of the Secretariat in the near future. Mr. Tuguldur Baajiikhuu listened to TCS’ work functions and projects, and expected closer collaboration established between GTI Secretariat and TCS. Considering the synergies in geographic focus and goal to promote prosperity in Northeast Asia, the two organizations held very active discussions on future cooperation.
GTI was established in 1995 with its Secretariat based in Beijing, China. It is an intergovernmental mechanism in Northeast Asia, supported by United Nations Development Programs, with a membership of four countries: China, Mongolia, Republic of Korea, and Russian Federation.
