On June 24, 2019, TCS delegation participated in a working level meeting among the organizations responsible for organizing the 15th China-Japan-ROK Children’s Story Exchange Program in Beijing, China. TCS participated as the co-host in charge of the alumni student program, which targets the graduates of CSE program who after ten years of their initial participation in the program revisit to contribute to the experiences of their junior students and to set goals and visions for the program alumni community. TCS attended the working level meeting to discuss program content with representatives from China National Committee for the Care of Children (CNCCC), Japan National Institute for Youth Education (NIYE), and Seoul National University of Education (SNUE).
This year, a total of 27 CSE alumni students, ten from China, ten from Japan, and seven from ROK are expected to participate alongside 100 elementary school students from the three countries. The theme of the CSE 2019 Program is ‘garden’ and participants will engage in relevant activities, lectures, and site visits including the visit to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean exhibitions in the international area of China Expo 2019.
