China-Japan-ROK Youth Innovation Entrepreneurship Alliance Forum was held in Qingdao city, China from September 10 to 12, 2019. The Forum was organized as the main event under the 2nd International Summit on Innovation and Development of Youth Entrepreneurs. The TCS delegation led by Deputy Secretary-General KANG Do-ho attended the Forum.
In his congratulatory remarks, DSG KANG stressed that the three countries shared economic benefits through continuous cooperation thanks to their geographical proximity. Introducing the importance of trilateral cooperation and the establishment of the TCS, DSG KANG explained that the TCS, as an international organization that supports for the trilateral cooperation in all fields of political, economic and socio-cultural areas, had provided a communication platform to business people of the three countries.
DSG KANG explained that the three countries have diverse cultures which were resulted from a long history in Northeast Asia and people surrounded by diverse cultures can create innovative ideas. He provided an example that the three countries cover over half of international patent applications and 75% of application for design registration in the world. From the fact, DSG KANG emphasized that young entrepreneurs would play an important role in leading the global innovation in the era of the 4th industrial revolution based on their creative ideas and their collaboration would boost the development of trilateral cooperation as a whole.
The Forum was organized to encourage the young entrepreneurs by providing training, and linking them up for the China-Japan-Korea Youth Quality Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project. The goal of this event is to accelerate the growth of enterprises; promote the industry, education, and research; cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial talents; and promote outstanding innovation projects. Through young entrepreneurs’ cooperation and communication, the future of CJK’s economic, technological and business cooperation will drive integration.
