TC Activities TCS Signed a MOU with Musashino Art University for the first AYIFF in Japan

On October 16th, the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (Hisashi Michigami, Secretary-General), Musashino Art University (Nagasawa Tadanori, President) and LLP Asia International Youth Film Festival Japan (Takahashi Katsuzo, Union member) signed a memorandum of understanding at Musashino Art University to hold the 14th Asia Youth Film Festival (hereinafter referred to as “AIYFF”) in Japan in 2020. It will be the first time for the AIYFF to be held in Japan. Through the MOU, the three parties will work closely together for a successful festival.
The AIYFF aims to promote mutual understanding among the youth of three countries through films. Short films made by the youth, which passed the preliminary rounds of each country, will be screened during the festival, and judges of three countries will select and award excellent films.
The festival began in 2004 as the Korean International Film Festival and turned into AIYFF based on the agreement of organizers of three countries. The 13th AIYFF is scheduled for October 25-28 in Seoul.
