A special online webinar hosted by CAMPUS Asia alumni communities of BESETO CAMPUS Asia Program (University of Tokyo, Seoul National University, and Peking University) and University of Tokyo CAMPUS Asia office was held on Saturday, May 23, 2020. TCS participated in the meeting as an observer.
The meeting was attended by 34 BESETO CAMPUS Asia alumni community members, CJK youth program alumni participants, representatives from CAMPUS
Asia offices at the universities, and other relevant stakeholders. During the webinar, guest lecturer Dr. Chris Hammond from Aoyama Gakuin University gave a lecture on regional cooperation and CAMPUS Asia Program. The lecture was followed by presentations from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean BESETO CAMPUS Asia alumni representatives sharing their experiences with their local communities respond to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus.
This special BESETO CAMPUS Asia webinar was held in place of the annual BESETO CAMPUS Asia alumni gathering organized in Tokyo in response to the coronavirus and the resulting social distancing.
