The 2020 NOWPAP-TEMM Joint Workshop on Marine Litter Management was held online on 2 December 2020. TCS attended the workshop and gave a presentation on Promoting Trilateral Environment Cooperation.
TCS introduced the footprint of trilateral cooperation, Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting (TEMM) and TCS projects in the framework of TEMM and sustainable development areas. Through the presentation, the audience gained better understanding of TCS’ contribution in TEMM and looked forward to discussing with TCS on cooperative projects.
Government officials and experts on marine litter management from China, Japan, the ROK and Russia, as well as representatives from international organizations and NGOs in this field reported the progress made since 2019 workshop, shared best practices and challenges, and exchanged ideas on future marine litter management and cooperation.
The NOWPAP-TEMM Joint Workshop on Marine Litter Management is one of the working group meetings in the framework of TEMM.
