On November 25, 2020, the 7th CJK Cooperation Dialogue was held at the international conference room of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) and virtually through Zoom. This year's dialogue marked the seventh anniversary and was co-hosted by the East Asia Foundation of Korea, China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD), and Japan Economic Foundation (JEF). The event was sponsored by Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat TCS)

This year's dialogue was held under the title of CJK Co Navigation and Emerging Opportunities amid COVID-19 Pandemic with the purpose of seeking solutions for continued cooperation among the three countries as well as prevailing over the pandemic and shifting it to an opportunity for co-prosperity. Through the four sessions that were held, experts from three countries discussed the prospects for the pandemic and post pandemic world by using the lens of economy, commerce, environment, and industry. In addition, topics such as sustainable crisis management methods and ways for trilateral cooperation were discussed as well.
TCS Secretary-General MICHIGAMI Hisashi highlighted through his welcoming remarks that 2021 would mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the TCS. He also stressed that the TCS has been playing a pivotal role in supporting ministerial conferences and non-governmental cooperation in various fields, including foreign affairs, economy and as well as cooperation dealing with the pandemic response.
