On October 22, TCS Secretary-General Amb. OU Boqian met with reporters from
Xinhua News Agency Seoul Bureau at the TCS office. They exchanged views on
media’s role in trilateral cooperation and had a good discussion on exploring
potential cooperation.
SG OU briefed the reporters on the latest developments of the trilateral
cooperation and future plans of TCS. Underlining the important role of the media
on connecting the peoples, she encouraged them to actively cover the trilateral
cooperation activities in all areas. She also expressed appreciation for media’s
support for reporting TCS’ activities and expected a deepened cooperation
between the TCS and Xinhua.
Ms. Du Baiyu, Bureau Chief of Xinhua News Agency, briefed the history of the
bureau and introduced their upcoming events. She said Xinhua will continue to
make contribution to promote the mutual understandings among the public of
three countries.
