On October 26, 2021, TCS Secretary-General Amb. OU Boqian met with Ms. MA Fei, Chief of People’s Daily Seoul Bureau. Both exchanged views on the future directions of the Trilateral Cooperation and explored potential cooperation.
SG OU stated that the Trilateral Cooperation stands out in Northeast Asia with the broadest coverage, highest degree of institutionalization, richest accomplishments and strongest endogenous dynamics, would serve as a good foundation for regional cooperation architecture. She briefed TCS’ working plan in the next two years, emphasizing on the promotion of mutual understandings of the peoples as well as the public acknowledgement of the Trilateral Cooperation spirit. She thanked People’s Daily for the long-standing cooperation with the TCS and sought for their continuous support to promote joint security, common development and shared values of culture in the region.
Ms. MA Fei congratulated SG OU on her assumption of office, and made an introduction to the People’s Daily Seoul Bureau and the foreign correspondents’ community in the ROK. She offered suggestions on the promotion of public awareness of the Trilateral Cooperation and the TCS, and renewed her readiness to join hands with the TCS to promote the mutual understandings among the three countries.
