Seminar & Forum Deputy Secretary-General BEK Bumhym Delivered Congratulatory Remarks to the 18th Northeast Asia Youth Forum

On August 17, 2022, TCS Deputy Secretary-General BEK Bumhym delivered congratulatory remarks at the 18th Northeast Asia Youth Forum hosted by the Moral Re-Armament Initiative to Change (MRA/IC), held at the Seoul Hoseo Art College. The main theme of this year’s forum was “Climate and Environmental Crisis Response and Youth”.
In his remarks, DSG BEK expressed his appreciation to the host and stressed the importance of individual efforts by raising international environmental concerns. He emphasized that since we are on the verge of a climate crisis, taking small actions are essential in heading to the future. By addressing TCS efforts and projects in environmental fields, DSG BEK encouraged CJK citizens to be more engaged and committed to protect the environment for future generations.
Various government representatives attended the forum, including MRA/IC Secretary-General Dr. CHA Kwangsun, MRA/IC President FUJITA Yukihisa, Minister KIM Hyunsook of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Ambassador XING Haiming of the Chinese Embassy in the ROK, and Minister CHUJO Kazuo of the Japanese Embassy in the ROK. Ambassador for Climate Change KIM Hyoeun delivered the keynote speech.
