On April 18, 2023, the delegation from
Yiwu Municipal People’s Government of Zhejiang Province in China headed by Mr.
WANG Wei, Vice Mayor of Yiwu City paid a visit to Trilateral Cooperation
Secretariat (TCS).
SG OU warmly welcomed the Yiwu
Delegation. She appreciated the high-speed development in the field of
e-commerce of Yiwu City, emphasizing that the digital economy and cross-border
e-commerce are important areas of cooperation among China, Japan, and the ROK.
and looking forward to having further cooperation with Yiwu City.
Vice Mayor WANG expressed his gratitude
for the welcome from the TCS. He shared the current endeavor made by Yiwu City
in enhancing foreign trade. Furthermore, he invited TCS to participate in the
9th United Cities And Local Governments Asia Pacific Congress (UCLG ASPAC),
which will be held in Yiwu in November, to promote regional local governments’
exchanges.
Both sides reached a consensus on
further cooperation in the future.
