On September 13th, TCS Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang paid a courtesy
visit to Mr. PARK Hogun, the president of the Incheon Institute.
President Park warmly welcomed the TCS delegation and introduced the Incheon
Institute’s recent initiatives aimed at enhancing cultural and policy exchanges in East
Asia, emphasizing the critical role these efforts play in strengthening regional ties.
He underscored the importance of collaborative research and dialogue in addressing
shared challenges and opportunities in the region.
Deputy Secretary-General Yan Liang expressed gratitude to President Park and the
Incheon Institute for inviting TCS to participate in the 8th East Asia Cultural City
Policy Forum and other programs. He stressed that TCS has a close relationship with
Incheon City and the organizations located in Incheon. He expressed the importance
of deepening the partnership between TCS and the Incheon Institute, to provide a
valuable platform for enhancing trilateral cooperation between China, Japan, and
Korea.
Both parties agreed on the importance of continued collaboration, with a shared
vision to leverage platforms like the East Asia Cultural City Policy Forum to foster
greater cultural, social, and economic integration in the region. The meeting
concluded with mutual hopes for future cooperation, contributing to the
strengthening of trilateral ties in East Asia.
