On February 25, 2016, Secretary-General YANG Houlan visited H.E. Mr. LEE Hong-koo, former Prime Minister of the ROK. During the meeting, Secretary-General YANG first expressed his appreciation to Mr. LEE Hong-koo for his support and interest in the trilateral cooperation for the past many years, and introduced the progress and achievements of trilateral cooperation since the resumption of the 6th Trilateral Summit held last year. Secretary-General YANG asked Mr. LEE Hong-koo, who has always been concerned about the cooperation among the three countries, for his continuous support for the work of the TCS. Mr. LEE fully affirmed the important role of trilateral cooperation in promoting peace, stability, and development in the region, and highly appreciated the positive results achieved through the Trilateral Summit. He expressed his willingness to continue supporting the work of the TCS for the promotion and development of trilateral cooperation.
