Others TCS Boards Members Visited ASEAN-Korea Centre

On February 12, 2016, the TCS board members visited ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) and met with Secretary-General of AKC KIM Young-sun.
Secretary-General YANG Houlan remarked that the room for cooperation between the three countries and the ASEAN is growing as the economic ties between the two continue to increase. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening partnership between TCS and AKC towards the goal of realizing East Asia Economic Community by 2020.
Secretary-General KIM Young-sun appreciated TCS’ effort in coordinating the three countries’ partnership with the ASEAN and pointed out that cooperation with the ASEAN could be an effective mechanism for further development of the trilateral cooperation.
Acknowledging the need for close partnership between TCS and AKC, the two sides agreed to continue working together to find concrete joint projects, particularly in the area of youth exchanges.
