Others TCS Board Members Paid a Courtesy Call to Vice Minister of Education of the ROK, LEE Young

On January 13, 2016, the TCS board members paid a courtesy call to H.E. Mr. LEE Young, Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Korea.
TCS Secretary-General YANG Houlan and Vice Minister LEE discussed issues related to the follow-up of the 6th Trilateral Summit outcomes related to educational cooperation and the 1st Trilateral Education Ministers’ Meeting scheduled to be held in the ROK.
SG YANG Houlan highlighted the importance of nurturing younger generations who will play a very important role in trilateral relations, and promised for the full-fledged support of the TCS to the Ministry as the first host of the Trilateral Education Ministers’ Meeting. The TCS boards also conveyed TCS’ willingness to support the promotion of CAMPUS Asia, one of the prominent outcomes of the trilateral educational cooperation.
Recognizing TCS’ experience of participating in trilateral ministerial meetings, Vice Minister LEE requested support from the TCS in particular by providing useful information regarding trilateral governmental mechanisms in preparing the 1st Trilateral Education Ministers’ Meeting.
